About the role
Senior Accountant with significant experience. Enforces accounting policies, procedures, controls, and compliance with regulations and reporting requirements. Analyzes financial reports and recommends, develops, or maintains solutions to difficult or unique business and financial problems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Drives general accounting processes such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and / or balance sheet management to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities.
• Enforces accounting policies, procedures, controls, and compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
• Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses, and / or to provide advice.
• Analyzes financial reports and recommends, develops, or maintains solutions to difficult or unique business and financial problems.
• Leads large-scale projects.
• Is a specialist in one or more disciplines and trains and coaches professional accountants in order to develop their capabilities.

Requirements
Requires expert to mastery knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience
Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience
OR
An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years experience
