Company Overview: We are a group of USA-based companies consisting of SLSS, FLEX, and SDS. SLSS specializes in staffing temporary employees, FLEX provides trucking and transportation solutions, and SDS focuses on providing drivers to trucking companies. As a financial controller, you will be based out of Mohali and play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring compliance for our group of companies. Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports for each company within the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies. 2. Book Closing: Coordinate and supervise the monthly closing process, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals to ensure accurate financial statements. 3. KPI Management: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial performance, analyzing trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. 4. Compliance Oversight: Collaborate closely with the Group CFO to ensure adherence to accounting rules, regulations, and company policies. Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity. 5. Tax Compliance: Work closely with tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, supporting tax planning and preparation of tax returns. 6. Systems Proficiency: Utilize financial systems and software effectively, with a strong preference for proficiency in QuickBooks. Leverage technology to streamline financial processes and reporting. 7. Process Familiarity: Demonstrate knowledge of ATR (Accounts to Report), OTC (Order to Cash), and RTP (Requisition to Pay) processes, actively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices. Requirements: 1. Education and Certification: Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA certification is strongly preferred. 2. Financial Expertise: Proven experience (+5 years) in financial management, accounting, and reporting. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, adjustments, and audit processes. 3. English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, as you will be collaborating with the USA-based team and stakeholders. 4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. 5. Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. 6. Compliance Mindset: A thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, both locally and internationally. 7. Technology Aptitude: Proficiency in financial software and systems, with experience in QuickBooks considered a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: \xe2\x82\xb930,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb980,000.00 per month Benefits:
