About Global Finance Services Division
Global Finance Services Division helps the business achieve superior results by delivering valued financial expertise and protecting Caterpillar's high-integrity culture. The division is also responsible for providing strategic business insights to support profitable growth of the organization. In India, the division has presence across multiple cities including Global Business services in Bangalore with COEs for Analytics & Finance operations and Business Resource teams across cities like Chennai, Hosur, Bangalore and Aurangabad.
Job Purpose:
This is an accounting role with responsibilities of assisting in business planning, profit center reporting, monthly book closure, capital and inventory management. In addition, the incumbent shall be responsible to ensure high integrity financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP including strong internal control environment in accordance with SOX regulations, perform monthly book closure with required management adjustment journal entries, support Local GAAP audit by preparing financials and coordinating with auditors, preparing reconciliation for balance sheet accounts and perform general accounting functions.
