HIH Accounting Operations Accounts Payable - Accounting Analyst
Position Summary:
Evernorth is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our emerging Accounting team at our Global Capability Center (GCC) location in Hyderabad. The individual will ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with accounts payable processes, accounting policies and regulatory requirements. This role will be a key contributor to the accounts payable team. The role will support customers throughout the company to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments.
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Authority Management Tool Updates: Process owner supporting updates to the Oracle Authority management tool to remain compliant with SOX controls
• Daily payment process: Support non-standard Accounts Payable batch processes to ensure transactions remain compliant with all applicable processes and controls.
• Daily Accounts Payable activities: Performs a broad range of basic Accounting and Accounts Payable functions.
• Audit Support: Support audit requests and act as a subject matter expert for various Accounts Payable activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required (MBA/CA/ICWA/CFA/CPA preferred).
• 1-3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Proven experience within accounts payable, accounting or finance functions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle EPM).
