Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial accounting and reporting engagements with a focus on quality and compliance
Support transaction accounting for IPO readiness, SPACs, and target companies
Review financial statements, notes, and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and other applicable GAAPs
Assist in preparation of PCAOB-compliant financials and completion of audit requirements
Prepare draft comfort letters and support SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)
Manage GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards
Provide solutions for complex accounting areas including:
Business combinations and goodwill impairment
Revenue and lease accounting
Expected credit losses
Share-based payments and financial instruments
Establish and maintain accounting policies and governance frameworks
Support audit readiness and remediation activities
Deliver technical accounting training and mentor junior team members
Lead and develop a high-performing accounting advisory team, ensuring timely and budgeted delivery
Identify team development and training opportunities Qualifications & Experience
CA / CPA / ACCA with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in Financial Accounting & Advisory
Background in audit, accounting advisory, or finance controllership roles
Strong expertise in US GAAP / IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards
Proven experience with transactions, business combinations, IPO readiness, and SPACs
Hands-on experience with GAAP conversions and new accounting standard implementation
Strong technical accounting research and memo drafting skills
Experience supporting financial statement close, consolidation, and compilation processes
Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to mentor teams and contribute to business development initiatives
