Role Overview
We are looking for a junior accountant to join the Taxation Department, assisting in GST filing, accounting entries, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally software and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and GST compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
Assist in GST computation, return preparation, and filing.
Support the taxation team with TDS entries, reconciliations, and statutory documentation.
Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, and supporting records.
Coordinate with seniors for audit and financial reporting tasks.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Requirements
Education: B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax basics.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
