Job Role: Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
Oversee bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and coordination with banks for financial transactions.
2. Accounting Operations:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., Zoho Books, SAP).
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of ledger entries.
Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial performance and provide actionable insights.
3. Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Handle queries related to tax audits, statutory audits, and government authorities.
Maintain compliance with company law provisions and other applicable regulations.
4. Budgeting & Cost Control:
Assist in the preparation of budgets for projects and operational activities.
Analyze costs and implement measures to control unnecessary expenditures.
Work closely with procurement and project teams to maintain cost efficiency in operations.
5. Internal Controls & Audit:
Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure the timely resolution of audit observations.
Conduct internal financial reviews to ensure adherence to company policies.
6. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with procurement, commercial, and project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure consistent professional development.
7. MIS Reporting:
Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management.
Highlight key financial metrics and KPIs, such as profitability, liquidity, and operational efficiency.
8. System Improvement & Automation:
Suggest and implement automation in financial processes to enhance efficiency.
Work on the continuous improvement of ERP/accounting software.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), CA Inter, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
Experience:
1+ years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a construction or infrastructure company.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.
Proficiency in Zoho Books, SAP, or similar ERP/accounting software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, team collaboration, and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?144,000.00 - ?300,000.00 per year
