to handle day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations within the Odoo platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions through
Odoo ERP
including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain
general ledger
,
trial balance
, and
financial statements
.
Perform
bank reconciliations
, vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Ensure
accurate tax calculations
(GST, TDS, etc.) and filing of returns as per statutory deadlines.
Handle
accounts payable and receivable
, ensuring timely settlements.
Assist in
monthly closing
,
profit & loss statements
, and
balance sheet preparation
.
Generate and analyze
financial reports
from Odoo for management review.
Support
audit requirements
and maintain proper documentation.
Monitor and improve
Odoo accounting workflows
and coordinate with the IT/Odoo team for system updates or process automation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
(B.Com / M.Com / MBA preferred).
Minimum
2-5 years
of experience in accounting, with at least
1 year using Odoo ERP
.
Strong understanding of
Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
and accounting principles.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
Odoo customization or reporting modules
.
Knowledge of
inventory and costing modules
in Odoo.
Experience in
manufacturing or trading industries
is an added advantage.
