Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation. Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission of tax filings. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes. Handle payroll processing and related documentation (if applicable). Monitor and control expenses to meet budget targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) GST Filling. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
