Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with extensive tax and audit experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will not only manage tax-related matters but also assist with audit functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to the preparation of financial audit reports. Experience working in audit firms will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

Books of Accounts & Compliance

: Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Bank Reconciliation Statements

: Prepare and manage bank reconciliation statements to ensure financial accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Client Coordination

: Effectively coordinate with clients to address their financial, compliance, and audit-related needs.

Statutory Compliance

: Ensure compliance with GST, Company Law, and Customs regulations, and assist with audits to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Taxation

: Handle individual taxation and professional tax matters efficiently, offering strategic tax planning and advisory services.

Financial Audits

: Assist in conducting financial audits, reviewing financial statements, and preparing audit reports in compliance with regulatory standards.

Audit Support

: Collaborate with audit teams, assist in fieldwork, and ensure proper documentation of audit procedures.

Software Proficiency

: Demonstrate good knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.

Accounting Packages

: Possess working knowledge of various accounting software packages.

Qualifications

:

Seeking professionals with CA, CA-Inter, ACCA or equivalent credentials 1-2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and audit-related roles, with a focus on financial audit reports. Strong knowledge of GST, Company Law, and Customs regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience with financial audit procedures, report preparation, and audit documentation. Effective communication skills in English and strong client coordination abilities. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills

:

Hands-on experience with popular accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar). Familiarity with professional tax matters, individual taxation, and audit standards. Previous experience working in audit firms, with exposure to financial audits and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
