Place of Posting : Kasba Industrial Area, Kolkata

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables :

Maintain and update day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally/ERP system. Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance. Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts periodically. Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection. Manage payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.). Assist in GST filing, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit processes. Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant laws. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP. Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools. Understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Exposure to Genesis (software) is preferable.

Job Requiremtents

Experience (Nature, Function & preferred organisation., if any) :

3 to 8 years' experience in a garment, leather manufacturing or e-commerce company as an Accountant.

Qualification

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce and 3 to 8 years of experience in Accounting, with a preference for advanced degrees.

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?300,000.00 per year
