Accountant (Zoho Books Specialist)
Overview
We are seeking a proactive Accountant with mandatory, hands-on expertise in Zoho Books and the Zoho Finance Suite. This role is crucial for managing our financial integrity and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
Core Responsibilities
The primary duty is to manage end-to-end accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations, exclusively within Zoho Books.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all financial activities and records maintain full compliance with Indian taxation laws, specifically the GST (Goods and Services Tax), and manage the accurate, timely filing of all statutory returns (GSTR, TDS/TCS).
Generate essential financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) and support budgeting processes.
Treasury & Administration:
Manage cash flow, process vendor payments, and handle payroll records.
Execute necessary banking transactions, which requires occasional visits to the bank as and when needed for deposits or documentation.
Qualifications
Education: B.Com or M.Com degree.
Software: Proven expertise in Zoho Books is non-negotiable.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian GST and TDS regulations.
Skills: High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
