About the Role:

We are looking for a

detail-oriented and experienced Accountant

to join our growing retail team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about accounting, compliance, and financial accuracy, and who thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting management with financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting operations, including

Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries

. Prepare and review

financial statements, budgets, and reports

. Manage

month-end and year-end closings

and perform reconciliations. Ensure compliance with

GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements

. Handle

inventory accounting and cost analysis

. Support internal and external

audits

with complete documentation. Process

contra, journal, receipt, and payment entries

accurately. Coordinate with teams to

optimize costs and improve financial processes

. Follow accounting standards, company policies, and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Finance, Accounting, or a related field

.

2-3 years

of hands-on accounting experience. Proficient in

Tally

(knowledge of Zoho Books or other ERP tools is a plus). Strong understanding of

AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliance

. Experience with

inventory accounting

(Fruits & Vegetables domain preferred). Excellent

analytical, communication, and organizational skills

. Proficient in

MS Excel

and accounting tools. Able to

work independently

and meet deadlines efficiently.
