We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Accountant

to join our team at HOOQX in Kolkata, Salt Lake Sector V. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting, finance, and compliance, with proven expertise in

GST, TDS, and ITR filing

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial records. Prepare and file

GST, TDS, and ITR returns

within deadlines. Handle accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation of bank statements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Assist in audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors. Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow management. Support management with financial analysis and forecasting. Maintain confidentiality of financial data and company records.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Minimum

3-4 years of proven experience

as an Accountant. Strong knowledge of

GST, TDS, ITR filing, and overall tax compliance

. Hands-on experience with

Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software

. Knowledge of payroll processing and PF/ESI will be an added advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
