What You'll Do

As an Accountant, you will manage end-to-end accounting processes for our US-based clients. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial records and supporting the tax and compliance needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a solid understanding of US tax legislation (individual and business) Setup and onboard clients into QuickBooks, including Chart of Accounts and opening balances Clean up accounting records and systems for new clients Manage fixed asset registers - additions, disposals, depreciation, trade-ins Perform reconciliations: Tax accounts, loan accounts, bank accounts Prepare and post journal entries Conduct monthly/quarterly financial statement preparation and tax returns Assist with budget creation and financial forecasting File sales tax returns and reconcile payroll entries Perform month-end and year-end close processes Manage client queries and communicate clearly with internal teams and clients Pay vendor invoices and manage account balances (for select clients)

What We're Looking For

1+ years

of full-cycle accounting experience Experience working with

US clients

and US GAAP (preferred)

QuickBooks expertise

(certification is a plus) Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools such as

Bill.com, Receipt Bank

, etc. Strong understanding of accounting systems and data cleanup Hands-on knowledge of advanced

Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work

independently

and handle multiple tasks in a

fast-paced

environment

CPA qualification

or equivalent is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required Willingness to work

US hours (9 AM to 6 PM EST)
