Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions.
Ensure timely closing of books at month-end and year-end.
Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
Monitor outstanding receivables, generate customer invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and report on financial performance.
Provide recommendations to management on cost optimization and financial efficiency.
Prepare and file tax returns (GST, VAT, corporate income tax, etc.) in compliance with local laws.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and company policies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in financial procedures.
Process monthly payroll in coordination with HR, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
Review and reimburse employee expense claims in line with company policy.
Conduct variance analysis to support management in strategic decision-making.
Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analysis when requested.
Support management with investment evaluations, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modeling.
Maintain proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,Tally, etc)
Support digitalization and automation of financial processes.
Ensure proper documentation and archiving of financial records.
