to strengthen our finance team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accountant
with strong experience in real estate or construction accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the financial operations of ongoing development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Track and monitor project-based expenses, budgets, and cost allocations.
Ensure timely compliance with tax filings (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for real estate projects.
Reconcile project accounts, monitor cash flow, and report on project profitability.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter or equivalent preferred).
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, property development, or construction.
Proficient in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Solid knowledge of tax laws, GST, and financial compliance requirements.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
