Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and preparing accurate financial reports. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, Indian tax regulations, and proficiency in accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day financial records and accounting transactions Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) Handle TDS deductions, payments, and filing of TDS returns (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Conduct bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations Support in internal and statutory audits Ensure timely payment of taxes and filing of compliance documents Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Maintain accurate records for fixed assets and depreciation Coordinate with external consultants for tax filings and audits

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting; CA Inter or M.Com preferred 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience in an Indian business environment Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Good communication skills in English and Hindi/regional language

Preferred Skills:

Experience in managing payroll and compliance (EPF, ESI) Familiarity with ROC filings and MCA compliance (for Pvt Ltd companies) Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
