We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly responsible Accountant to join our finance team. As part of a stock-listed company, the Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, assisting in external audits, and supporting timely financial reporting to regulatory bodies, stock exchanges, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Record and reconcile day-to-day financial transactions (AP, AR, GL, Payroll, Fixed Assets).
Prepare and maintain financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with
Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP
.
Assist in preparation of
quarterly and annual financial results
for stock exchange submissions.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Companies Act, SEBI, Income Tax, GST, etc.).
Assist in filing regulatory returns and disclosures as required for listed companies.
Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits.
Audit & Internal Controls
Support statutory auditors, internal auditors, and secretarial auditors.
Ensure adherence to
internal financial controls (IFC)
.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Budgeting & Analysis
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Monitor expenses against approved budgets and highlight deviations.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
Investor & Board Support (as applicable)
Support finance team in preparing data for
Board meetings and investor presentations
.
Assist in providing financial information requested by analysts, shareholders, and regulators.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (CA/CPA/CMA preferred).
Proven experience (2-5 years) in corporate accounting; listed company experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of
Ind AS, IFRS, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and Income Tax
.
Proficiency in
ERP software (SAP/Oracle/Tally/NetSuite)
and MS Excel.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to meet strict reporting deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work under pressure with accuracy.
Sound understanding of stock market-related reporting obligations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: ₹38,983.75 - ₹43,755.09 per month
