Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy, transparency, statutory compliance, and timely reporting. The role supports smooth administrative and academic operations through effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage student fee collection, receipts, reconciliations, and maintain accurate fee records. Handle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, petty cash management, and transaction entries in Tally/ERP. Prepare monthly payroll, maintain attendance/leave data for salary processing, and handle statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT). Ensure timely compliance and maintain audit-ready documents. Process vendor invoices, track purchase orders, maintain vendor ledgers, and coordinate payments. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for Management. Assist in annual budgeting, expense forecasting, and monitoring departmental budget utilization. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documents and reports. Maintain financial confidentiality and ensure all records follow school policies and statutory norms.

Qualifications & Requirements

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience Proficiency in Tally or ERP-based accounting systems and strong MS Excel skills. Knowledge on general accounting principles. Strong numerical accuracy, documentation skills, and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with departments, parents, and vendors. High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data. Immediate Joiners Preferred

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
