We are looking for a detail-oriented

Accountant

for our client, a reputed

Wedding Photography, Event Management, and Wedding Decor Company

based in

T Nagar, Chennai

. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, billing, and financial records for multiple wedding projects and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain

day-to-day accounts

, cash book, bank book, and ledger Prepare

invoices, quotations, and payment follow-ups

with clients Handle

vendor bills

, expense tracking, and payments Perform

bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

Maintain

accounts receivable and payable

Assist in

GST-related work

including data preparation and coordination with CA Maintain proper

financial records and documentation

Support management with

monthly financial reports and MIS

Coordinate with HR for

payroll inputs

if required

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce / Accounting / Finance

1-3 years of experience as an

Accountant

Working knowledge of

Tally / Accounting software

Basic knowledge of

GST and statutory compliances

Proficiency in

MS Excel

Good communication skills in

English and Tamil

Experience in service or event management industry is an added advantage
