The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling taxation and compliance matters, and supporting financial audits. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting software, a strong understanding of financial principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and client billing.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage TDS, GST, and other statutory filings as per timelines.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Support management with financial data and MIS reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / CMA preferred).
2-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
Proficiency in
Tally, MS Excel, and accounting ERP software.
Sound knowledge of
GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
