Daniel Thomas School is seeking a highly organized and experienced
Accountant
to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
3 years of professional accounting experience
and a strong background in managing financial operations within an educational or nonprofit setting.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities of the school, including maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and school policies. You will prepare financial reports for school leadership and the board, assist in the annual budgeting process, monitor expenses against budgets, and support internal and external audits.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and accountability of the school, enabling Daniel Thomas School to continue providing high-quality education and support services. This position requires integrity, discretion, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment.
