We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Accountant
to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in accounting, GST compliance, and basic administrative responsibilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day financial transactions and records.
Prepare and file
GST returns
(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on time.
Handle
accounts payable/receivable
, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
Support
monthly and year-end closing processes
.
Assist in
budget preparation and financial reporting
.
Manage
invoices, purchase orders, and payment follow-ups
.
Handle basic
admin-related tasks
such as vendor coordination, asset tracking, etc.
Liaise with auditors, CA, and government departments when required.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like
TDS, PF, ESI
(if applicable).
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com or related qualification.
5-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and GST.
Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic office tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
Experience in handling admin functions along with accounting.
Exposure to internal audits or financial compliance.
