Salary: ₹25,000 - ?30,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing retail team. This is a great opportunity for professionals passionate about accounting and compliance, and eager to work in a structured environment.

You will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting tasks like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis Support audits with proper documentation Generate reports as needed by management Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes Follow accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other ERP tools is a plus)
- Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
- Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (F&V domain is a plus)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools
