Smarthub Automation is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Accountant

to join our team in Siliguri. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in accounting and finance, and be capable of managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally or other accounting software) Enter sales and purchase transactions in Tally Record journal entries Handle accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations Conduct GST reconciliation and GST filing Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliances Manage stock records and perform regular stock reconciliation Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software (Tally preferred) Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other compliance requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team
