Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
Maintain general ledger and record all financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
Collaborate with auditors during internal or external audits.
Maintain and improve accounting systems and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA or relevant certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications:
