About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented
Accountant
on behalf of our client in
Kannur
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing financial insights that help the business grow efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/ERP).
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings and compliance.
Assist with audits (internal and external).
Bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Coordinate with CA/consultants for statutory matters.
Maintain records for all transactions and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting or related field.
2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in
Tally ERP
, MS Excel, and accounting tools.
Strong understanding of
GST, TDS
, and other statutory regulations.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred:
Candidates currently based in
Kannur
or willing to relocate.
Experience working in a manufacturing/trading/services environment.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
