Position: Assistant to Director



Qualification: CMA/CA (Qualified or Semi-Qualified)



Industry: Manufacturing / Share Market



Location: Alwarpet



Reports to: Director



Salary: 6,00,000 TO 6,50,000 per year



Key Responsibilities



Financial Analysis & Reporting



Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Assist in the preparation of board reports and presentations for management.

Accounting & Compliance



Ensure timely completion of financial statements and audits.

Maintain compliance with applicable tax laws, GST, and other statutory regulations.

Support in the preparation and filing of returns, ensuring timely adherence to deadlines.

Investment & Market Analysis (For Share Market Role)



Research market trends, financial news, and investment opportunities.

Provide insights and support the Director in investment decisions.

Monitor stock performance and prepare periodic reports on portfolio status.

Cost Management & Control (For Manufacturing Role)



Monitor production costs and suggest cost control measures.

Conduct product costing and analyze production efficiencies.

Support in inventory management and cost reduction initiatives.

Operational Support



Support the Director in day-to-day business operations.

Assist in strategic planning, performance tracking, and process improvements.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the Director.

Administrative Support



Manage the Director's schedule, appointments, and correspondence.

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.

Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.

Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost control.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting/ERP software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience



4-15 years of experience in finance, accounts, or investment analysis roles.

Exposure to the manufacturing or share market industry is highly preferred.

Soft Skills



Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
