Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Accountant

to manage and oversee the financial operations of our institution. The ideal candidate should have

10-12 years of accounting experience in educational institutions

, with strong knowledge of fee management, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate

books of accounts

, ledgers, journals, and all financial records. Handle

student fee collection, reconciliation, and outstanding reports

. Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

. Manage

bank transactions

, including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations. Ensure

timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI

, and other statutory returns. Handle

payroll preparation

for teaching and non-teaching staff. Prepare and monitor

annual budgets and expense control

for the institution. Coordinate with auditors for

internal and statutory audits

. Oversee

vendor payments, purchase accounting, and petty cash management

. Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and student records. Support the

management

in financial planning and decision-making.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in

Tally ERP / MS Excel / Accounting software

Strong knowledge of

education sector financial systems

Excellent

analytical, reporting, and communication skills

Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to manage a small team or junior accountants
