We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant for our restaurant in Salem. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting software and be well-versed in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts, cash book, and ledgers Handle billing, vendor payments, and expense tracking Prepare monthly financial statements and reports Manage GST returns, filings, and reconciliations Maintain purchase, sales, and stock records Coordinate with auditors and consultants when required Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Accountant (preferably in restaurant / hospitality industry) Proficiency in Tally (Tally ERP / Tally Prime) and MS Excel Strong knowledge of ledger maintenance and GST filing Understanding of basic taxation and compliance requirements Attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
Salary:

As per industry standards (based on experience and skills)
