Job Description

We are looking for an

Accountant with experience in Road Transport / Logistics (FTL & PTL)

to handle day-to-day accounting, freight billing, GST compliance, and fleet-related financial operations.

The ideal candidate must have

hands-on experience in transport accounting

, including freight billing, trip-wise reconciliation, and driver/vendor settlements.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

Maintain books of accounts including

GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliation

Pass

journal entries

, maintain ledgers, and support

P&L and Balance Sheet

preparation Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports

Transport & Logistics Accounting

Handle

freight billing

(LR-wise / consignment-wise) Perform

trip sheet reconciliation

and

trip-wise profitability analysis

Manage

driver settlements

, advances, diesel expenses, toll & FASTag accounting Track

freight receivables

and coordinate for timely collections Process

vendor payments

(truck owners / fleet vendors)
GST & Compliance

Handle

GST related to transport services

Prepare and file

GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

Manage

RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism)

for freight transactions Handle

TDS on transport payments

and statutory compliances Ensure proper

POD documentation

for billing and compliance
Software & Tools

Work on

Tally / Tally Prime

Maintain data in

Excel (MIS, reconciliation, reporting)

Coordinate with operations using

Transport / Logistics ERP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
