ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Accountant (3-6 years) who will manage end-to-end accounting operations with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial accuracy. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in e-commerce or D2C business accounting, reconciling marketplace payouts, payment gateways, and maintaining clean books.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) -- invoicing, collections tracking, and ageing analysis. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across all platforms including Shopify, marketplaces, payment gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree, etc.) and banks. Track and reconcile marketplace settlements, TCS/TDS deductions, returns, and claims. Maintain accurate books of accounts and update entries in accounting software (Zoho/QuickBooks/Tally). Prepare GST workings, coordinate with external CA for monthly filings, and ensure statutory compliance. Assist in month-end closing activities -- revenue recognition, payout validation, journal entries, credit notes etc. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on discrepancies or short settlements. Support internal audits, financial reporting, and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, e-commerce, finance) to resolve reconciliation gaps.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

3-6 years of accounting experience (mandatory). Strong expertise in Accounts Receivable & reconciliations (payment gateways, banks, marketplaces). Experience in e-commerce or D2C brand accounting is highly preferred. Proficiency in advanced Excel and accounting tools. Strong understanding of GST, TCS/TDS, and financial compliance. Detail-oriented, systematic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
