Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing core financial activities including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, banking operations, cost control, budgeting, and compliance. This role also involves supporting internal teams through effective coordination and providing analytical insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensure timely closure of books and reconciliation of accounts.

2. Taxation & Compliance

- Handle all direct and indirect tax matters including GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc. - Ensure timely filing of returns and adherence to statutory regulations. - Liaise with auditors and government authorities during audits and assessments

3. Banking & Finance Operations

- Manage day-to-day banking activities, including payments, receipts, and cash flow monitoring.
- Coordinate with banks for facilities like loans, credit limits, and treasury operations.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and manage treasury functions.

4. Costing & Budget Management

- Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Monitor actual vs. budgeted financial performance and report deviations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally)

Preferred Experience:

Experience in

Jewellery manufacturing/export accounting

will be a plus.
