Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to retail outlets and distribution points.
Record and reconcile daily sales, cash, and digital transactions from multiple retail channels (POS systems, online sales, etc.).
Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoices, and credit/debit notes.
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial data.
Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and customer transactions.
Assist in inventory valuation, cost accounting, and periodic stock audits for retail units.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams for audit support, expense tracking, and budgeting.
Support management in financial planning, forecasting, and cost analysis for retail operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).
Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG industry.
Experience in Zoho is mandatory
