Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and experience working with various accounting software platforms. Duties

Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage general ledger accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and account analyses to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities by providing insightful analysis and data-driven recommendations. Maintain accurate records using various accounting software. Contribute to continuous process improvements within the finance department by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices in accounting procedures. Support tax preparation activities by providing necessary documentation and insights based on tax experience and financial data analysis. Participate in special projects related to financial management, cash flow analysis, or securities law compliance as needed.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Any degree 10/12 pass 2+ years experience in accounting or public accounting environments with a strong foundation in financial concepts. Demonstrated expertise working with diverse accounting software including Tally, proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis is essential.
