The Role
This position will be on external role for six months.
Main responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate receipt accounting in SAP
Ensure Posting of cheques received (customers, employees, scrap)
Ensure Posting of TDS Certificates
Ensure posting of GTDS as and when details received in service now
Ensure Posting of write off / write back of customer invoices / advances (Sanction Notes)
Participation in Projects / developments in SAP and support audit /assessments
Work actively with optimizing the efficiency and quality of the daily tasks
Sub Ledger-General ledger reconciliations, TDS reconciliations, passing of necessary journals to complete recon activities
Dealer and customer reconciliations
Inter Company reconciliation from Account Receivable Side
Accounting knowledge of Receivable, Payable and Invoice processing
Ensure raise customer debit note/credit note as and when required
Ensure raise scrap sale invoice and send soft copy to Logistics
Vendor Maintenance for PC
Assist for TCS calculation, journal mass upload and printing
Reporting, Schedule preparation and other routine work related to reporting FAM
Salary Journal Entry for all FAMS
Helpdesk tickets resolution
Standardization of processes
Any other routine work that is given from time to time
To succeed, you will need
Experience requirements
Computer literacy (advanced user knowledge of excel, MS Office system etc.)
2-5 years of Accounting experience
Working experience of SAP will be a big plus
Fluent in English (both writing and oral)
Creative / analytical / an innovative problem solver
Able to work independently & have handled administrative function
Previous experience within a shared service accounting role will be a plus
Debtors / TDS / Bank reconciliation.
Working knowledge of VAT / TDS / WCT
Educational/Knowledge requirements
University degree in Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.com / MBA)
