Working closely with the Group Consolidation Manager, this role involves coordinating financial information from various entities, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the preparation of consolidated financial statements. The candidate will also assist in compliance efforts and process improvements within the consolidation function.What You Will Do in This RoleFinancial Consolidation Support:

  • Assist in the coordination and consolidation of financial data from multiple entities within the U.S. group.
  • Ensure appropriate eliminations take place in the Hyperion Reporting Package
  • Contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare and maintain SOX controls with required back-up workings
  • Provide any other support required in the process as necessary.
Financial Reporting Assistance:
  • Aid in the preparation of consolidated financial reports in adherence to USGAAP.
  • Assist in generating financial analysis and reports for management and stakeholders.
Accounting for Distributions/ Liquidations/ Mergers:
  • Accounting for intra-group distributions, liquidations, mergers, outsourced accounting entities
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for consolidation group related accounts.
  • Perform any other accounting as necessary.
Process Assistance:
  • Provide documentation and support during external audits.
  • Contribute to the identification of process improvement opportunities in consolidation and reporting.
  • Assist in implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with finance teams across business units to gather, validate, and reconcile financial information.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to contribute insights into consolidated financial performance.
Systems and Technology:
  • Utilize financial consolidation software and ERP systems under the guidance of the Group Consolidation Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating financial systems as necessary.
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need to be Successful in this Role
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience
  • Basic proficiency in using financial systems and consolidation software.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
