to manage the financial records of our offset printing press. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST compliance, invoicing, and challan preparation, specifically tailored to the printing and packaging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
Generate and manage
sales and purchase invoices
,
delivery challans
, and other related documents.
Ensure timely and correct filing of
GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
in compliance with statutory requirements.
Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain records of raw materials, finished goods, and job work transactions in coordination with production and stores.
Manage petty cash and daily transaction entries in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, etc.).
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for audits and assessments.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, statutory regulations, and internal accounting standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent); candidates with CA Inter or M.Com will be preferred.
Minimum
5 years of relevant experience
, preferably in a printing press or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in
accounting software
such as
Tally ERP
, Busy, or similar.
Strong knowledge of
GST regulations
, including filing and reconciliation.
Familiarity with
invoice and challan formats
used in the printing industry.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
