Job Title : Accountant - Export Company
Job Overview:
The accountant manages financial transactions, ensures tax and regulatory compliance, and supports trade documentation for global export operations. The role requires strong analysis, accurate reporting, and cross-functional coordination to optimize financial management for international trade activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for all export transactions, monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, receivables, and payables.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for export activities and assist with budgets and financial forecasts.
Oversee processing and record-keeping for foreign currency payments, letters of credit, and trade finance.
Manage customs documentation, statutory filings, and compliance with global tax regulations, including customs duties, GST, and VAT.
Analyze costs, profitability, and pricing for exported goods, and optimize logistics, freight, and insurance expenses.
Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to track shipments and ensure timely settlements, including customs clearance and valuation.
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits related to export transactions and maintain strong internal controls.
Provide financial reporting for management, identify financial risks, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA certification preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in export accounting, preferably in international trade.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs duties, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Experience in handling Letters of Credit, foreign exchange, and trade finance transactions.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced global environment.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with banks, customers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities.
Work Conditions:
Office-based role with flexibility to coordinate across global time zones.
May involve extended hours during financial reporting or compliance deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
