We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper & Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support smooth accounting operations at our Jalandhar office.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) accurately in accounting software
Prepare and maintain ledgers, accounts, and reconciliations
Process invoices, bills, and expense vouchers
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and vendors as required
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation
Support management with any ad hoc accounting or administrative tasks
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
2-5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping and accounting
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, QuickBooks)
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
