Job Description

The primary task of accountants, which extends to all others, is to prepare and examine financial records. They make sure that records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Handle full-cycle accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents in compliance with UK regulations. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination, and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Liaise with UK-based clients and ensure their financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in UK accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of UK tax laws and accounting standards. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
