Accountant

to manage financial operations and ensure compliance within the dynamic world of post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, billing, vendor payments, and reconciliation Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (Tally or relevant software) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI filings, and coordinate with CA firms when needed Track project budgets, monitor expense reports, and ensure timely billing to clients Maintain payroll records and support salary disbursement processes Liaise with producers, clients, and internal departments for financial documentation Manage petty cash and studio-level operational expenses Assist during internal and external audits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-5 years of relevant experience (experience in a media/post-production environment is a plus) Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software Knowledge of taxation laws (GST, TDS, etc.) Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment and handle multiple projects Attention to detail and integrity in managing financial data
