Job Description
Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and diligent Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Tally and Sofgen ERP software. Responsibilities:
- Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documenting financial transactions by entering account information into our Tally and Sofgen ERP systems.
- Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Monitoring financial details to ensure compliance with national, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Preparing payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master\'s preferred).
- Proven experience as an accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Proficiency in using accounting software Tally and Sofgen ERP.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
