We are looking for a detail-oriented and honest Accountant to manage the daily financial operations of
Nikunj Infocom
. Your primary role will be to ensure that every rupee entering or leaving the shop is accurately recorded. You will be responsible for maintaining precise digital and physical ledgers, managing cash flow, and ensuring basic tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management:
Record every single transaction (sales, purchases, returns) of the firm accurately on a daily basis.
Cash Flow Monitoring:
Track daily cash-in and cash-out; perform daily cash counting to ensure physical cash matches the books.
Bookkeeping:
Maintain up-to-date ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliation statements.
Inventory Accounting:
Coordinate with the sales team to record stock movements and assist in monthly inventory checks.
GST & Compliance:
Prepare data for GST filings, maintain GST-compliant invoices, and ensure timely payment of utility bills and vendor dues.
Reporting:
Provide weekly and monthly summaries of profit/loss and expenses to the management.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong Calculation Skills:
Ability to process numbers quickly and accurately without errors.
Data Entry Excellence:
High speed and accuracy in entry-level accounting software (like Tally Prime, Busy, or Zoho) and MS Excel.
GST Knowledge:
Basic understanding of GST slabs, HSN codes, and input tax credit (ITC).
Experience:
experience in retail or firm accounting.
Education:
B.Com or equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting.
