Key Responsibilities:
Book-keeping & Data Entry:
Maintain daily accounting records using our customized ERP software.
Enter full truckload details and update entries with the availability of relevant documents.
Invoice Management:
Generate invoices based on load details.
Email invoices to relevant clients and parties promptly.
Banking & Payment Processing:
Prepare daily
bulk bank payment files
in a predefined Excel format.
Enter payment details in the ERP software.
Reconcile bank statements and track incoming/outgoing payments.
Document Management:
Upload Proof of Delivery (POD) and other vehicle-related documents to the ERP system.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct weekly and monthly performance analysis.
Identify and monitor accounts receivable and payable.
Assist in yearly audits and the preparation of final financial statements including:
Trading Account
Profit & Loss Statement
Balance Sheet
Training & Support:
1 to 2 weeks of comprehensive training
will be provided on our ERP software.
Ongoing support and guidance from the business owners.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce, Accounting, or related field
(preferred)
Basic to intermediate knowledge of
accounting principles
Proficiency in
MS Excel
Prior experience in
transport/logistics industry
is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills
