RK Engineering and Construction is a well-established firm specializing in civil, infrastructure, and turnkey construction projects. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage our financial records, ensure compliance, and support the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
Handle accounts payable and receivable entries and reconciliations.
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time.
Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Monitor project expenses and coordinate with the project team for accurate billing.
Maintain bank reconciliations and petty cash accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Handle payroll processing and related statutory deductions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
2-4 years of accounting experience (experience in the construction industry is preferred).
Knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Strong understanding of taxation (GST, TDS), invoicing, and compliance.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
