Role - Accountant

Experience - 2-5 Years

Education - B.com , M.com

Job Responsibilities:

The person should be working under the guidance of Finance Manager and responsible for the followings.

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles. Experience with creating financial statements. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills. Accuracy and attention to details. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Update accounts receivable and issue invoices. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned. Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed. Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies. Supervising administrative staff and dividing responsibilities to ensure performance. Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary. Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Requirements

Proven experience as an accountant. Excellent organizing abilities. Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen. Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant Tally work. M.Com. or relevant field.
