At Kuizeens Health Land, we are dedicated to promoting wellness. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team and help us maintain the financial health of our growing business.
Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and monthly reconciliations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards while providing insightful financial data to support our mission of healthy living.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
General Ledger:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Oversee vendor payments, client invoicing, and aging report follow-ups.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns (GST/VAT/Sales Tax) as applicable.
Budgeting:
Assist in the development of annual budgets and perform variance analysis.
Payroll:
Manage payroll processing and ensure all employee records are up-to-date.
Audit Support:
Coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2
years of accounting experience, preferably in the [Food/Wellness/Retail] industry.
Software Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or NetSuite).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, high level of integrity, and excellent communication skills.
