Maintain accurate financial records for online transactions, including sales, refunds, and payment gateways.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Track vendor payments, customer invoices, and reconcile online payment systems (PayPal, Razorpay, Stripe, etc.).
Marketplace Sales Data Entry (Tally ERP):
Record gross sales, commissions, shipping charges, GST/TCS, and net settlements from marketplaces.
Create and manage ledgers for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, etc., within Tally ERP.
Perform reconciliation between marketplace reports and bank statements.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file GST/VAT returns, ensure compliance with digital sales tax regulations.
Financial Analysis:
Generate reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability; forecast trends for management.
Auditing & Reconciliation:
Perform bank reconciliations, audit online transactions.
Technology Integration:
Use accounting software Tally integrated with e-commerce platforms
Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and ERP systems.
E-commerce Knowledge:
Familiarity with online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart) and payment gateways.
Analytical Ability:
Strong numerical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
Compliance Awareness:
Knowledge of tax laws, digital invoicing, and regulatory requirements.
